Yes, owners must make sure dogs are up to date before taking part.
What if my dog is nervous?
Dogs get very excited! If yours is nervous or reactive, please consider whether this is the right event.

Paws in the Park is back for another year of tail-wagging fun!
The UK’s largest outdoor dog show returns with two weekends packed full of exciting activities for both you and your dog.
Join us on May 17th-18th at the South of England Showground, and again on September 20th-21st at the Kent Showground in Detling.
Come along to see amazing demonstrations from skilled working dogs in the main arena and choose from over 30 activities for your dog to try, including; dogstable, agility, flyball, mini paws, and gun dog scurries. There's even the chance for your dog to make a splash at the K9 Aqua Zone and Dash N Splash!
With classes for all breeds and sizes at the fun dog show, plus over 100 trade stands to shop from, Paws in the Park is a must for all dog lovers.

At the Puppy Dog Tails field between Borstal and Wouldham this normally runs on Saturdays 10-10.55am for pups up to 10kg. Lynda who owns Puppy Dog Tails is always in attendance along with her apprentices and there is a tuck shop with doggy ice cream for sale.

Suitable for any age, type or ability. This class may not be suitable for reactive dogs or pups. If this will be your first session, please contact Lynda prior to booking to organise a free 15 minute meet and greet.

LET YOUR DOG TAKE THE LEAD TO HELP BEAT CANCER. A local fundraising group is calling on the people of Sandwich and East Kent to get involved in Woof Walkies, a local dog walk, raising vital funds for Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work. People of all ages, levels of fitness and walks of life are being asked to sign up their furry friends to a sponsored dog walk, at Sandwich Quay, Sandwich from 10am to raise vital funds for life-saving research. You can even dress in pink, them and/or you!

Get involved: There is a small entry fee together with any sponsorship money you can raise. ALL funds raised are for Cancer Research UK.

There will also be face painting, cakes, doggie ice creams and refreshments available, making it a fun day out for the whole family.

Free to enter, you’ll be able to bring your furry friends to enjoy a doggy day out at Dreamland. There’ll be the opportunity to take part in agility courses provided by Enve Canine Services, watch a free film on the Scenic Screen and browse an array of gifts and treats from stall holders in the Food Court. Plus, sign up your furry friend on the day for the Dreamland Dog Day Show. This event is hosted by Enve Canine Services in support of the RSPCA Kent – Isle of Thanet Branch.

To enter your furry friend in a class you’ll need to sign up on the day (all money raised from this dog show will be used by the RSPCA Kent – Isle of Thanet branch for the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of animals in Thanet).

The entrance for Dreamland Dog Day will be via the Scenic Gate in the Belgrave Road Car Park. Dogs (no matter how lovely) will not be allowed to explore the indoor spaces or go on rides! All dogs must be kept on short leads.
