"Meet at the pub for 9.30am for a complimentary bacon sandwich, tea or coffee before heading off at 10am for a 3 mile circular walk. We will be taking in the beautiful views of Stour valley, to the pretty River Stour itself, and the surrounding countryside. We should arrive back at the pub for around midday, for a well earned pint or a spot of lunch if you fancy? This is a free event, but would appreciate if you could let us know below, if you're planning on joining us (1 ticket per person) so we know how many people to cater for."

At the Puppy Dog Tails field between Borstal and Wouldham this normally runs on Saturdays 10-11am for pups up to 10kg. Lynda who owns Puppy Dog Tails is always in attendance along with her apprentices and there is a tuck shop with doggy ice cream for sale.

Suitable for any age, type or ability. This class may not be suitable for reactive dogs or pups. If this will be your first session, please contact Lynda prior to booking to organise a free 15 minute meet and greet.

Aces High Flyball Taster Day (think Hustle and Crufts) so you can discover the exciting, fast-paced world of flyball! Curious about the sport or looking for a new way to bond with your dog or just want a fun day out, perfect for beginners of all breeds and abilities and you'll get - An introduction to what flyball is all about * A chance to try out some of the basic skills with your dog * Advice from our experienced team members * Information about training with our club and sessions * You will need to complete a google form to book your place, the links are on the Facebook event but do get in touch with The Dog Advisor Kent if you need assistance - hour time slots 10.30, 12 and 1.30

Great Dane Gatherings have a meet up planned a Jeskyns Community Woodland. This is a great way for Great Dane owners to connect, share experiences, and most importantly, let your gentle giants socialize and play. We will set off at 11am please message or post if you're running late and we will wait for you or come and find you! Most of the paths we go on will be off lead areas but small parts are on lead only. We may also be able to utilise the Dog Agility Area and the free enclosed fields if available. I will bring my camera to get some nice action shots too!

We’ve got paw-some news for you…. Dreamland Dog Day is BACK! Free to enter, you’ll be able to bring your furry friends to enjoy a doggy day out at Dreamland. There’ll be the opportunity to take part in agility courses (priced at £1.50 per pooch) provided by Enve Canine Services, watch a free film on the Scenic Screen and browse an array of gifts and treats from stall holders in the Food Court. Plus, sign up your furry friend on the day for the Dreamland Dog Day Show. Classes include Scruffiest Dog, Best Trick, Waggiest Tail, Best Doggie Family and more. Entries will be taken from 11am and judging commences at 12:30pm. This event is hosted by Enve Canine Services in support of the RSPCA Kent – Isle of Thanet Branch. To enter your furry friend in a class you’ll need to sign up on the day and entry fee is just £2 per class (all money raised from this dog show will be used by the RSPCA Kent – Isle of Thanet branch for the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of animals in Thanet). The entrance for Dreamland Dog Day will be via the Scenic Gate in the Belgrave Road Car Park. Dogs (no matter how lovely) will not be allowed to explore the indoor spaces or go on rides! All dogs must be kept on short leads.

Sir Dickie Derek invites you to join us in celebrating his birthday. Those of you that know Dickie, will know that we don't know how old he is, or when his birthday is so we decided to celebrate his birthday for around the time that we officially adopted him. We don't know how many birthdays we will get to share with our boy so we are going to make sure that this is one to remember and we would love you all to join us in making it special for him! Tickets are £5 and can be purchased on our website. Included in your ticket price is 1x Pup Cup and 1x Party Bag. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to The Frenchie & Friends Foundation, where Dickie came from. There will be a selection of doggy themed stalls hosted by some of our friends. There will be a charity raffle. There will also be food and drinks available to purchase on the day. All breeds are welcome to attend. All dogs to be kept on a lead. No tools of torture please. Thank you!

Join us for a fun charity dog show, in aid of Happy Endings Rescue, a local charity caring for animals who have been abandoned or neglected. Entry is £2 per dog per category, 100% of which will go to Happy Endings Rescue, with additional donations welcomed on the day! Enter your pooches in one of the following categories: Waggiest Tail, Mirror Image (Dog that looks most like its owner!), Best Costume, Golden Oldie (Dogs over 7 years old!), Junior Handler There may also be some availability on the day on a first-come first-serve basis, but we do recommend entering in advance. There will be special prizes in each category, including tote bags and treats from our friends at Nuturaw! Also don't forget to get your dog a free dental check from Swale Barn Vets. Spectators are also very welcome (and encouraged!) to come along and cheer on their favorite dogs, whilst enjoying everything else the Food Village has to offer. There will also be free kids activities to keep the little ones occupied too. Entrants: Please arrive 30 minutes before your category start time and ensure you are checked in at least 15 minutes before the start of the class.
