LET YOUR DOG TAKE THE LEAD TO HELP BEAT CANCER. A local fundraising group is calling on the people of Sandwich and East Kent to get involved in Woof Walkies, a local dog walk, raising vital funds for Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work. People of all ages, levels of fitness and walks of life are being asked to sign up their furry friends to a sponsored dog walk, at Sandwich Quay, Sandwich from 10am to raise vital funds for life-saving research. You can even dress in pink, them and/or you!

Get involved: There is a small entry fee together with any sponsorship money you can raise. ALL funds raised are for Cancer Research UK.

There will also be face painting, cakes, doggie ice creams and refreshments available, making it a fun day out for the whole family.

Action Watersports in Romney Marsh are dog-friendly and offer both Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) with your dog (Pups on Sups) every Monday and Thursday morning 9.30am and 10.30am and every 1st and 3rd Monday and Wednesday of the month 5:30, 5:45 or 6:00pm and also swimming with your dog on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Instructors on hand to offer guidance and assistance.

Join thousands of sighthounds and their owners around the world for one incredible day of walking and awareness at Tonbridge Castle to raise money for Kent Greyhound Rescue. Location: Tonbridge Castle & Park. Time: 9:45am, walk starts at 10am sharp.
