Great Dane Gatherings have a meet up planned a Jeskyns Community Woodland. This is a great way for Great Dane owners to connect, share experiences, and most importantly, let your gentle giants socialize and play. We will set off at 11am please message or post if you're running late and we will wait for you or come and find you! Most of the paths we go on will be off lead areas but small parts are on lead only. We may also be able to utilise the Dog Agility Area and the free enclosed fields if available. I will bring my camera to get some nice action shots too!

We’ve got paw-some news for you…. Dreamland Dog Day is BACK! Free to enter, you’ll be able to bring your furry friends to enjoy a doggy day out at Dreamland. There’ll be the opportunity to take part in agility courses (priced at £1.50 per pooch) provided by Enve Canine Services, watch a free film on the Scenic Screen and browse an array of gifts and treats from stall holders in the Food Court. Plus, sign up your furry friend on the day for the Dreamland Dog Day Show. Classes include Scruffiest Dog, Best Trick, Waggiest Tail, Best Doggie Family and more. Entries will be taken from 11am and judging commences at 12:30pm. This event is hosted by Enve Canine Services in support of the RSPCA Kent – Isle of Thanet Branch. To enter your furry friend in a class you’ll need to sign up on the day and entry fee is just £2 per class (all money raised from this dog show will be used by the RSPCA Kent – Isle of Thanet branch for the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of animals in Thanet). The entrance for Dreamland Dog Day will be via the Scenic Gate in the Belgrave Road Car Park. Dogs (no matter how lovely) will not be allowed to explore the indoor spaces or go on rides! All dogs must be kept on short leads.

Join us for a fun charity dog show, in aid of Happy Endings Rescue, a local charity caring for animals who have been abandoned or neglected. Entry is £2 per dog per category, 100% of which will go to Happy Endings Rescue, with additional donations welcomed on the day! Enter your pooches in one of the following categories: Waggiest Tail, Mirror Image (Dog that looks most like its owner!), Best Costume, Golden Oldie (Dogs over 7 years old!), Junior Handler There may also be some availability on the day on a first-come first-serve basis, but we do recommend entering in advance. There will be special prizes in each category, including tote bags and treats from our friends at Nuturaw! Also don't forget to get your dog a free dental check from Swale Barn Vets. Spectators are also very welcome (and encouraged!) to come along and cheer on their favorite dogs, whilst enjoying everything else the Food Village has to offer. There will also be free kids activities to keep the little ones occupied too. Entrants: Please arrive 30 minutes before your category start time and ensure you are checked in at least 15 minutes before the start of the class.
