Dogs on leads are welcome in Chiddingstone Castle grounds, tea Room and gift shop entry to the grounds is free (parking payable on Ringgo). Grounds open daily

Four Winds Farm PYO Pumpkins (Country Pumpkins)

Pick Your Own (PYO) Pumpkins 18th to 26th October 2025. Dogs allowed in the grassy area but not in the PYO Pumpkin area. Must buy vehicle tickets in advance. Scarecrow Trail. Face painting. Refreshments.
Chiddingstone Castle Tea Room

Tea room now open for 2026
Dogs on leads are welcome in the courtyard area of the Tea Room, there are water bowls and dog treats available. The seating area is partly covered so depending on the weather there are tables offering shade from the sun or shelter from a rain shower. You do not need to purchase a castle admission ticket to enter the tea room. Opening hours are Wednesday to Sunday 11am to 5pm, last orders are taken at 4pm (closed on Monday and Tuesday). We welcome dogs on short leads at Scotney. They are allowed in the garden, shops, tea-room and on the wider estate which provides miles of beautiful walking.
Dog bins are provided, water bowls are available, fresh running water is outside the walker’s toilet, we serve doggy ice cream and the staff love to share their supply of doggy treats.
Collect your pooch passport from Visitor Reception on your next visit.
Please note that to guarantee entry to Scotney Castle you need to book your parking space in advance of your visit via the Scotney homepage or the National Trust app.
